5 White House Security Breaches-Secrecy Surrounding the Secret Service


There you’ve read it, “The White House Security Breach,” you heard it or you’ve watched news on TV about it. Yes, man jumps White House fence is the news that is trending now. This breach of security has raised a lot of questions.

The man who hopped the White House fence (the north fence) has been identified as Omar J. Gonzalez. He successful made it to the front door before he was apprehended.

There are other intruders who have breached the White House security. Is the White House security getting worse? This question takes us to look at some of the White House facts regarding security breaches over the years.

You’re aware that this is one of the most secure buildings in the United States, or even the world, but as has been shown in the past week from the trending topics by Google, Yahoo!, Twitter and other news media, even the White House is not impervious to uninvited guests.

Could the problem lie with the agency’s management culture? Of course, the U.S. Secret Service Director Julia Pierson was given the duty of cleaning up the agency’s culture after the scandal of the Secret Service agents hiring prostitutes in Colombia.

Although the White House press secretary Josh Earnest maintains that Obama still has confidence in the Secret Service, the President’s life is put at greater risk by the Secret Service that has management culture which condones corner-cutting.
