People often talk about extreme sports as if they’re the most adrenaline fueled, life on the edge, and downright dangerous sports around, but how many people are actually seriously injured (or worse) when base jumping or skydiving?
What many would argue, is that its motorsport (motor racing) where the real dangers are, and these ten most shocking incidents in motor racing history may have you convinced too.
The list below is presented in no particular order, but what you’ll understand, is that no matter what safety regulations are introduced, and no matter how far we progress with crash testing or circuit design, driving a piece of machinery around at near 200mph is inherently dangerous.
More importantly, is that those who put their lives on the line for our entertainment deserve a kind of appreciation and respect of the highest level.
